A representative from each bargaining unit will be nominated and elected to represent the union members at the bargaining table.

SURVEYS
Contract Surveys are sent out to the memberships to poll what is most important to the members for the next contract; i.e., no concessions, increase pay, staffing language, pension, PTO, etc.

INDIVIDUAL UNION CAUCUSES
Elected bargaining committee members will look at the surveys and report on what the collective membership wants for the next contract.

Once all contract articles have been tentatively agreed to, meetings will be held to educate the members on the tentative article agreements with any updates or changes.

RATIFY CONTRACT VOTE
After the meetings have been conducted and members have been educated and informed, a membership vote will be held, allowing members a chance to vote to ratify or deny the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

NEW COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT (CBA) IN PLACE
Once the membership has voted on the new CBA and it has passed (or ratified), new contracts will be printed and passed out to union members.
